Guess who the narrator is!
I live in a town which is located in the suburbs of Manchester. I’ve been there for about 20 years, since 1985 in fact. I live with a family composed of 5 members: a father, a mother and their 3 children. The problem is: I’M GETTING DEPRESSED!! I feel so lonely and totally abandoned!! Why did this family allow me to join them if they don’t do anything with me anymore? They used to gather around me and spend 2 hours listening, laughing, trembling, eating sometimes… They used to feed me every weekend! But not anymore unfortunately! I have been replaced by someone else! I really don’t understand why! I’m bigger and stronger than him! I’m not as fragile as this so-called fashionable individual! I’m sure they don’t like me anymore because I am not as modern and sophisticated enough for this new century… Ibet that one day, they will even take me down to the garage and abandon me for good. I’ll just have to say goodbye to the sitting room I loved so much…
