de 2nde 3… et devinez qui en est le narrateur!

I am dead. In the good old days I used to live at  Edouard Herriot  High School in Voiron, contrary to now where I live in a little box. My family lived  in the neighbourhood. I still remember my mother telling me not to approach the secondary school because people there hate us. They fear us, because of our bad reputation. However, it has not always been this way. I thought that was exaggerated but unfortunately everything was true. So, just let us come back to what is interesting us just now: my sudden and unjust death. While I was flying from a room to another to improve my education going through mathematics, history, science…, suddenly my attention was caught by my favourite subject, English. I decided to settle near the window, to listen to the teacher. I will always  remember it was in room C4. Suddenly a big, ugly, enormous, horrible monster wearing a checked purple pullover  in a violent crisis of craziness caught a book and crushed me onto the window. My love for English led my to death!

The other day, I was at “Music to Live” in Flower Street in London where I used to hang about as usual* at the second floor near the stairs…When a teenager who was about fifteen came into the shop. She was pretty and I would have liked to go and see her but I couldn’t, that was impossible…Then she came up and watched me, I was so happy! She took me and made me fall, not purposely of course!

Today I have moved, I have followed her and I like her house and her family! I used to be happy and enthusiastic to leave but now…I regret it…I miss my boss, he used to love me and he used to take good care of me whereas now my new boss likes me I know but… not the way I would like. At first, she loved me and she always used me but she grew tired of** me. Now, when I think about my old boss I say “it was the good old days”. Contrary to now, I wasn’t alone and lost in a corner.

Yesterday, she gave me to a boy -her boy friend I think- and he used me at his concert. It was the best day of my life!Today, I can follow him on the tour*** of his group. I’m so lucky!! I’m on T.V, on the radio…My strings are tuned and everything’s alright!

Lexique : * as usual: Comme d’habitude  ** grow tired of: Se lasser de   *** a tour: une tournée
