CADRE EUROPÉEN COMMUN DE RÉFÉRENCE POUR LES LANGUES

Le Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour les langues (CECRL) s’impose dans les pays européens comme l’outil essentiel pour la création d’un espace éducatif européen dans le domaine des langues vivantes. Sa finalité essentielle est de favoriser la transparence et la comparabilité des dispositifs d’enseignement des langues et des qualifications en langues.

Le CECR établit trois niveaux ou paliers:

A: utilisateur élémentaire
A1: introductif ou élémentaire (fin de primaire) A2: intermédiaire ou usuel (fin de cinquième)

B: utilisateur indépendant
B1: niveau seuil (fin de troisième)
B2: avancé ou indépendant (fin de terminale)

C: utilisateur expérimenté
C1: autonome (niveau universitaire)
C2: maîtrise

Rien de tel pour s’entraîner à la compréhension orale qu’écouter la radio. Mais vous pouvez également vous abonner à quelques podcasts. Et pourquoi pas aux podcasts officiels de vos séries préférées. Entendre les acteurs en vo c’est quand même mieux: la voix est très importante dans le jeu d’acteur.

Je vous propose une interview de Wentworth Miller qui explique, par exemple, qu’il tourne dans une vraie prison, Joliet, située dans l’Illinois et que cela influence l’ambiance du tournage, même si elle a été fermée en 2002.

Le 22 septembre est une date importante dans l’histoire américaine. En effet, le 22 septembre 1862 Abraham Lincoln annonce qu’à dater du 1^er janvier 1863 les esclaves seront libres. En juin 1862, les républicains radicaux qui siégeaient aux Congrès réunirent assez de voix pour faire voter l’abolition de l’esclavage dans le “District of Columbia” et les territoires unis. Le Congrès autorisa également le président Lincoln à signer l’autorisation de recruter des soldats noirs dans les rangs de l’armée de l’union.

Lincoln informa son cabinet qu’il avait l’intention d’abolir l’esclavage mais attendait une grande victoire de l’armée de l’Union. Le 22 septembre 1862, après la victoire d’Antietam Lincoln rendit publique sa décision et annonça qu’à partir du 1er janvier 1863 les esclaves seraient déclarés libres (”shall be, then, thenceforth and forever free“.)
Je vous conseille le film Glory qui s’appuie sur l’histoire vraie d’un régiment de soldats noirs pendant cette guerre de Sécession. C’est un film classique et émouvant. Les acteurs y sont remarquables. Denzel Washington, par exemple reçu son premier oscar pour le rôle de Trip.

Todd: OK, Matt, I thought we would talk about people that we admire and the qualities about them that we admire. So, first we’re both sports fans. Who is an athlete that you admire?

Matt: Athlete that I admire? I would have to say Jackie Robinson, would come to mind, just because the barriers he had to overcome and the things that he experienced, that people after him…

Todd: OK, can you… a lot of people might not know who Jackie Robinson is.

Matt: Oh, sure, yeah, I’m sorry. Jackie Robinson was the first black man, the first man to break the quote-unquote color barrier in baseball and he was in 1947 brought in to the Major Leagues from the Negro Leagues which were at that time the only place where blacks or colored athletes were allowed to play baseball, so the first three years he endured an enormous amount of racism and hatred and he had to basically bite his lip and wasn’t able to seek revenge or fight for three years, so yeah, just what he went through, above and beyond just playing the game was something that I always admired in him.

Todd: Yeah, a special guy. Definitely. How about in movies is there an actor that you admire?

Matt: You know, I mean, I love so many actors and actresses in different roles. I think just in the interviews that I’ve seen, I really like Johnny Depp because he can play different characters and he’s not afraid to play off the wall characters or even bit parts or small roles that other main actors probably would not be interested in and he definitely, he brings humor to every dramatic role that he does. And just being in LA, I had a chance to see him film the movie Blow for about a week and just to see his demeanor on and off the set and he was not superficial or tough to deal with at all just from an outside perspective, he seemed like a really down-to-earth, cool guy, so I’ve always admired him.

Todd: Well, what is your favorite Johnny Depp movie?

Matt: I’d have to say, well, the first Pirate, Pirate’s of the Caribbean Movie, the first one was fantastic, his role in that, and yeah, that’s probably my favorite.
