The cover of the latest Newsweek magazine blares out its proclamation « We Are All Socialists Now. »Â  It is news that catches the eye in this country which tends to be more conservative than liberal.  According to the magazine’s editor, America of 2009 has become more socialist.  And, he suggests,  this change began when Bush, a Republican, was still the president.  Bush admitted in his last press conference that he had to throw out some of his free-market principles because there were no other options.  These financial bail outs may be only the beginning on the road to the left.  The Harvard economist Ken Rogoff  even predicts that the U.S. will move toward « a more centralized, redistributional health care system, as Europe already has. »Â  Check out the complete article here.

It is really shocking to see a country which has protected for so many years its Capitalism inside as well as outside, applying a rescue system whose principle was known to be the first enemy of the USA till 1990. Many wars, in many parts of the world, have taken place to fight the so called Communism, but hearing the president of the USA himself saying that Some free-market principles had to be thrown you see how much you have mistaken and you understand that those wars were for something else not for the sake of the so called Capitalism.
