    I don’t think either the film or the text included in the blog is going to help French students very much with their English! There is a serious grammatical and syntactical error in the text and American slang – nor British for that matter! – is surely not what the examiners are looking for in the bac. There are so many good films which can really engage the attention of young people AND offer examples of sound English ….

    I have decided that this blog would not be a « paste – copy » of what I would do or say in the classroom.
    Helping students to prepare for the bac is important, I agree. But I can’t help thinking that a little bit of fun once in a while is important.
    « Little Miss Sunshine » is not a masterpiece, but it is a film that students can enjoy. That is why I will recommend classics, but other films, books, or TV shows as well.
