The Wave, by Todd Strasser
First, we have to know that this book is the adaptation of a real story which happened in an American high school, in 1969.
A story which was an incident because of a movement called The Wave, as the title suggests.
The story begins with the protagonist, Laurie Saunders, who shows you the others characters while the story is progressing. We discover the movement of The Wave, its
creation by a History teacher, Mr Ross, and the consequences on his class and others pupils of the high school.
Like Laurie Saunders is the main character, we can easily guess that she will be the heroine of the story who will save
all her friends and the high school. What is particularly lively about this book is that we always want to know the rest of the story because the plot is very interesting.
I don’t really find anything which was disappointing in this story. In fact, I thought that it will be difficult to read an entire book in English, but no and I was surprised because
it was very easy and that’s why I will recommend this book to every student if I can.

Le professeur responsable devra VALIDER VOTRE INSCRIPTION, avant que vous puissiez choisir parmi les 15 films proposés au mois de février.

RAPPEL DU REGLEMENT

A partir du lundi 3 OCTOBRE REPRISE DU JEU « T’es qui toi ? » ou « Tékitoi ? ».

Un « mur » d’images est affiché au CDI. (voir photo).

Ce sont des portraits de grands écrivains de toutes époques et tous pays.

Nous avons privilégié les écrivains qui peuvent être connus par des lycéens.

Toutes les semaines, nous mettrons en valeur 2 écrivains.

Les lundis, mardis, jeudis nous donnerons des indices sur ces 2 écrivains : indices qui iront décroissants en difficulté.

Les vendredis nous donnerons la solution. Les questions seront aussi posées sur ce blog et au CDI

Les participants assidus seront distingués en fin d’année.

Consultez le planning hebdomadaire affiché sur la porte du CDI.

A certaines heures, le CDI sera réservé en priorité aux élèves de 1ères pour leurs recherches en TPE. LUNDI – MARDI- VENDREDI de 8h30 à 10h30.

Chaque élève de seconde aura 4 séances (au minimum) d’accompagnement personnalisé au CDI :

lundi ou jeudi de 15h30 à 17h30.
