Today we met Winston at Notting Hill Carnival.
He has seen all of the carnivals and he has taken part in 3 of them !

In Notting Hill , they’ve had one every year since 1966.

Winston is the leader of a steel band and they’re all amateurs.

They’ve been preparing this carnival since Christmas . They’ve been practising for ages. Every Friday night !

As for his costume , his wife is still making it and she hasn’t finished yet !

The pilots says he always flies with a co-pilot.

He says he never flies to foreign countries . He always flies to British cities (Liverpool, Manchester, London, Newcastle, Glasgow…)

He says he never feels scared.

He says he often puts the automatic pilot on and he admits  he often sits back and watch !
