“Dec. 2 - The Mobile Cooking Bus is giving some children in London their first chance to learn culinary skills and, it’s hoped, a better understanding of a good diet.

The state-of-the-art Cooking Bus aims to get cooking back into schools after being removed from the school curriculum more than ten years ago.

With child obesity at record highs, the UK government has decided teaching children to cook is one of the best ways to encourage them to eat sensibly.

But with many schools without proper facilities to teach cookery, the Cooking Bus offers a solution by bringing the kitchen to the school.”
