Independence day takes places on July 4th(1776) in the USA
It lasts 24 hours,
It’s celebrated in the USA to
commemorate the Declaration of Independance
celebrating a big moment in the history of the country

We worked on the Highland games, a Scottish celebration
Also It takes place on 4th Saturday of September in Scotland .
People send aloft and toss the caber (big heavy trunks)

. The participants must wear kilts
the games takes place in Scotland.
. They drink a lot of lager or ale served chilled
.They throw one stone all furthest (cracked,weight…) rank.

in the streets to krock and get candies
that’s “Trick or treat”
Halloween lasts the time of the party.

Easter is the biggest religious festival.
It is mainly celebrated on a Sunday.
People hide eggs for children in the garden and
they have to find them later in the day.
The celebration is in Spring.
Then children find these eggs then eat them all together.

We worked on Poppy day:
Poppy Day is celebreted on November 11th in England.
People sell poppies in respect of dead soldiers.
Poppies represent poppies growing in the field during WW1 .
There are two minutes of silence.

Everyone wears poppies even stars!
