Road Safety project

June 1st, 2011 by pagele

In December and May, a gendarme from Boulogne named François came to our school to indroduce road safety to the 5° International Section. The first time, François told us about the different missions of a gendarme,  the things which compose his uniform and at the end of the hour we asked him questions about his job and he answered them. The second time he spoke about driving under alcohol influence (2 beers = 0.25 mg/l) and about the road signs, which are divided into two categories: warning signs and signs giving orders. In May, François will come a third time but before that we took the A.S.S.R. and we passed. We had to complete a grid with 20 questions (it was a Q.C.M.) and tick the correct answers while watching a video. Now all the 5° have their A.S.S.R, which is compulsory to get the A.S.S.R 2, the B.S.R and the driving license.
