On November 20th, we travelled to Brussels by coach to visit the European Commission Centre
On November 7th, we travelled to Paris by RER to visit “la Maison de l’Europe”.
On October 24th, 3 young european came to Mme de Sévigné school to give us information about European countries : a French girl and two English students .
At the end of October two Europeens girls came to ouré school to tell us about the Erasmus programme.
Two students were French , one came from England.
Erasmus helps to study in the 27 European countries.
On the 20th november we went to Brussels to visit the European Parlement and we went into a cathedral .
Then,
I was sitting next to Elodie and we were speaking about music when Garance asked me to come next to her so iI went next to her. We spoke about evrything.
In the coach we saw a film (I can’t remember the title ) but it was very good and captivating.
When we arrived to Brussels we were divided into three groups. So we visited the city and the cathedral. It was very beautiful. Then we were very hungry. So, I went to a large square, we ate our sandwich and a crazy poor woman came to us. And she got angry because we didn’t give her any money so she put a spell on us, we are very afraid. When we finished eating the teachers left us so we went for a walk. It was wonderful because it was just before Christmas. Alicia, Elodie, Garance and I went to a chocolate shop. We took lots of photos next to this shop because she was the most beautiful.
Before we arrived at the Parlement building Alicia bought strawberries with chocolate. We took the coach again to go to the Parlement. When we arrived there someone welcomed us. During two hours we heard a man who spoke about the European Union. It was very boring because it was too long and hard to understand because the slides went too fast. Mr Pettelot was a pet with us and we are very pleased of this trip because it was a very good experience.

In November, 3 students from different countries of Europe came to France, in our high school: Madame de Sévigné. One student was english, and two were french. All of them had taken part in the “Erasmus project”. It is a project which allows us to travel all over the world, especially in the Europe countries which accept this project. It gives us the possibility to discover new languages, news culture, news food and a new way of life. We can live in the chosen country during 3months (minimun) ato 1 year (maximum).

Semaine de l’Europe au collège Madame de Sévigné
Début 0ctobre 2008 nous avons fait une rencontre avec Messieurs l’Intendant et le cuisinier du collège pour la préparation des menus européens à la cantine pour la semaine de l’Europe à l’école avec les classes de 3e1 et 3e2. Pour commencer, nous avons tous réfléchi sur les plats typiques des différents pays. Nous avons principalement choisi les pays dont nous étudions la langue au collège. Nous avons donc choisi les pays suivants :

Puis, avec le cuisinier nous avons débattu pour choisir les plats qui étaient les plus appropriés et nous nous sommes mis d’accord.
Nous nous sommes revus un autre jour de la semaine pour créer plusieurs affiches de la semaine de l’Europe pour que les autres élèves du collège soient mis au courant.
Durant la semaine de l’Europe tous les plats n’ont pas été respectés, sans doute par faute de moyens, mais nous avons tout de même goûté à beaucoup de recettes que l’on ne connaissait pas auparavant

Al principio de 0ctubre del 2008, nos encontramos con los Señores Intendente y el cocinero del colegio para la preparación de los menús europeos para servir en el comedor durante la semana de Europa en el cole. Estuvimos los cursos 3°1 y 3°2. Escogimos los países de los que estudiamos las lenguas : Italia, Inglaterra, España, Alemania.
