I thought this very good documentary could be interesting for you. It is about the political conflict in Nepal, which is a cause for so many destitute children, and some of your penfriends lost their parents due to that conflict…. Watch, try to understand ans enjoy….

C’est interessant pour vous car beaucoup de vos correspondants ont perdu leurs parents pendant ce conflit. C’est peut-etre un peu difficile a comprendre mais vous pourrez toujours voir les photos.

Pour en savoir un peu plus sur eux, je vous presente leur photo et leur histoire (in English, of course!!)

• Lisette ’s penfriend :Sagun Dubas

Sagun is 9 years old. Her father is unknown and her mother died and she was found in the street. She has been in the orphanage since 2000.

• Thomas Chouteau’s pendfriend: Santosh Dubas

Santosh is 13 years old. His father died and his mother is mentally disabled. He has been in the orphanage since 2000.

• Lou’s penfriend : Sunita Dubas

Sunita is 9 years old. Her father died and her mother disappeared. she has been in the orphanage since 2006.

• Camille’s penfriend : Sabina Dubas

Sabina is 9 years old. She was abandoned and found by the police in the street.

• Nicolas and Artiom’s penfriend: Sanjay Dubas

Sanjay is 11 years old. Both his parents died. He has been in the orphanage since 1998.

• Meghan’s penfriend : Sushmita Dubas

Sushmita is 14 years old. Her mother died and her father remarried but she was tortured and abandoned. she has been in the oprhanage since 1998.

• Laureane’s penfriend : Sushila Dubas

Sushila is 13 years old. Her parents died in a bus accident. She has been in the oprhanage since 2000.

Samir is 8 years old. His father died and his mother is mentally disabled. He has been in the orphanage since 2000.

Sarita is 15 years old. Both her parents died. she has been in the orphanage since 2004.

• Mathias’s penfriend : Susan Dubas

Susan is 10 years old. He was born ou of incest relation and was abandoned. He has been in the orphanage since 1998.

• Tsiane Love’s penfriend : Sima Dubas

Sima is 10 years old. Her parents are unknown and she was found by the police in the streets. She has been in the oprhanage since 2003.

• Marine’s penfriend : Sangila Dubas

Sangila is 8 years old. Her father died and her mother is extremely poor. She has been in the oprhanage since 2001.

• Alison’s penfriend: Sony Dubas

Sony is 6 years old. Her father died and her mother is unknown. She was found by the police. She has been in the oprhanage since 2007.

• Laurene’s penfriend : Shabit Dubas

Shabit is a new boy at the orphanage and unfortunately i don’t have any specific information about him yet.

• Laura Ngan’s penfriend : Surendra Dubas

Surendra is 10 years old. His parents died in the political conflict with Maoist rebels. He has been in the orphanage since 2004.

• Amelie’s penfriend: Sanju Dubas

Sanju is 7 years old. Her father died, her mother remarried and she was abandoned and found by the police.

She has been in the orphanage since 2005.

• Laura Riffaud’s penfriend : Sapana Dubas

Sapana is 15 years old. Her parents died in a bus accident. She is Susheela’s siste. She has been in  the orphanage since 1999.

• Thomas Rojano’s penfriend : Suman Dubas

Suman is 10 years old. Both his parents died. He has been in the oprhanage since 2003.

• Julien ‘s penfriend : Suresh Dubas

Suresh is 10 years old.   His parents died in the political conflict with Maoist rebels. He has been in the oprhanage since 2004.

• Romain’s penfriend : Saroj Dubas

Saroj is 13 years old. His parents are extremely poor and abandoned him. He has been in the orphanage since 1999.

• Maud’s penfriend : Sudip Dubas

Sudip is 13 years old. Both his parents died. He has been in the orphanage since 1996.

• Chloe’s penfriend : Sanam Dubas

Sanam is 8 years old. His mother died, hie father remarried and he was abandoned. He has been in the oprhanage since 2003.

Sabin is 10 years old. His mother died, his father remarried and he was abandoned and found in the streets.

He has been in the orphanage since 2000.
