Where does the scene take place ?

The scene takes place in England.

Who are the characters ?

The young boy’s name is Wart. But his real name is Arthur. He is the future king.

Wart is Kay’s servant. Kay looks stupid.

What can the participants do ?

They can ride a horse and they can fight with a sword very well too. They look very strong.

What’s wrong with Kay ?

He hasn’t got his sword.

Kay can’t fight because Wart forgot his sword in the inn ( = l’auberge).

He looks very angry/furious.

What’s wrong with Wart and Archimedes?

They can’t have the sword because the inn is closed. They can’t get in because the door is locked.

Where can they find a sword ?

But they can find a sword in the churchyard.

Can you describe the sword ?

This is the sword in the stone. This is a marvellous sword/ a magic sword.

What can Wart do ?

Wart can pull out the sword because he is the future king.

Can he prove it ?

Yes he can prove it because he can pull out the sword again !

What about Kay and the village people ?  Can they pull out the sword ?

No they can’t. Because they are too clumsy and it’s too difficult.

Shanta is 21. She is from Scotland. She lives in Glasgow. She works in the Green Café, on St Peter Street.

She serves drinks and food from 11 am till midnight.

People say she is clumsy.

She always arrives late. She sometimes spills the spaghetti/ hot coffee  over the customers. Sometimes she breaks plates and glasses, and she drops the food on the floor.

She often chats with the other waitresses.

She is not serious.

Peter Parker is a pizza boy but …

He works for Joe’s Pizza and he delivers pizzas !

In this scene he is struggling against the brooms and brushes. He‘s trying to arrange them into the cupboard ! The girl is watching him. She’s chewing gum but she‘s not helping him.

Peter looks clumsy but nice.

He‘s delivering the pizzas but he’s late. So the girl is not paying for them. In the end he is leaving but Mr Aziz is angry.
