On utilser le présent simple pour parler d'actions habituelles et de vérités générales ex: I play squash on Thursdays (habitude) the earth goes round the sun (vérité générale) On l'utilise aussi normalement pour les verbes d'état: ex: I think that English is a great language! Do you see that man in the back? |
On utilise le présent BE+Ving pour parler d'une action en train de se dérouler au moment où on parle, ou pendant la période actuelle. ex: Look! It's raining! What are you doing? I'm watching TV. I'm playing a lot of tennis at the moment. |
