I have already been to London !

Vendredi 30 mai 2008

I have already been to London. It was during my first year at secondary school.

I left for 3 days with my class in April. I was exhausted by the trip because it was very long.

We visited a lot of great monuments in London (Big Ben, Tower Bridge…) and the best was probably Buckingham Palace… The Soldiers’ costumes are very excentric ! I didn’t see the Queen but I would like to see her collection of hats !

I have never got in an English Bus (but I would enjoy it !)

Then, I came back to France by train. It was interesting to discover an other country. In fact, English are particular but nice.

I’ve never been to the USA and I would like to go to L.A., New York City and San Fransisco! I think there are things galore to see !

-My musicals tastes- by carolyne

Jeudi 29 mai 2008

Here is the fiction text on my musicals tastes.

When I went to Irelande, It was St Patrick’s day. It was a very Green day and when I saw the lanscape, I went to the Nirvana. But this day, I was ill and I went to the Cure . On Dublin, I was lost in this very big city and then, I took a Simple plan. One day, I have eaten a Red hot chili pepper in a restaurant. There was a lot of people; It was a Baby Shambles. The Police is arrived in the restaurant and the shamble are tidy up in 30 seconds. An other day, I went to a zoo and I looked an Arctic Monkey. It was so impressive !!! I met an Ireland star and I have a Kiss of him.

After my trip to Ireland I went to England and where I met the Queen. She is the Queen Of The Stone Age!! It’s humoristic!!! =). When I walked in a street I was Sting by an insect. Aïe!!!! It’s horrible… An in England there is a china town, and I found a Tokio hotel. It was very hot and I looked an Oasis. Then, I take the plain and I return in France.

After the Techtonik, the Omodaka Dancing !

Mardi 27 mai 2008

I’ ve always thought that some Japanese people were strange (and, of course, I said “SOME” ! It means that not all Japanese people are strange, but only a few) but
while browsing randomly the Web, I found that:

Yes, it’s the Omodaka Dancing! And of course, it comes from Japan! The name of the song is « Kyoteizinc », composed and danced by Masako Yasumoto. It’s strange… but rythmical (and a bit robotical too) !

London

I went to London 2 years ago with my class. I stayed 3 days. This trip was very good because in London there are a lot of museums, monuments, and beautiful gardens ( The garden of Buckingham Palace, is very beautiful!). I loved Madame Tussaud’s because the wax statues were very beautiful, they looked like real famous people. I saw the Tower of London, it’s very big and beautiful, there are a lot of Crown’s jewels. They are wonderful!

The family which welcomed us was really nice. When we didn’t understand they tried to help us. The house where I had to live for 3 days was very beautiful, there were a lot of televisions and a big bedroom.

I’ve never been to Algeria. I would like to go there because there is the sun! And it’s beautiful! The children are so cute! And the people are sweet, they are not like French people. The French are more in new technologies while a certain part of the Algerians do not live in wealth – there is a lot of Algerians who do not believe in money, and this is why I want to go to Algeria.

« Tunisia » by Camille

Mardi 27 mai 2008

I have already been to Tunisia but I have never been to the U.S.A and I want to go there. I went for one week in the last week of June 2007. I stayed in a hotel-club in Hamamet, with my parents, in the north of Tunisia by the seaside1. We visited the ruins of Carthage with a guide. We went to vist the village of Sidi Bou Saïd. We took a mint tea in the  » café des délices » ( subject of the song of Patrick Bruel). I visited the souks of Tunis, the capital, where articles weren’t labelled2 and every purchase3 had to be negociated.

My best memory is when I learnt Tunisian dances.

My trip to New York and my wish to go to Spain

Mardi 27 mai 2008

I went to New-York last year in August for a week. It was a very good experience for me. I saw The Statue of Liberty. I climbed up The Empire State Building’s Observatory. The view is wonderful! I went to Fifth Avenue. It’s a beautiful street with a lot of prestigious shops. I also visited St Patrick’s Cathedral. When you go into this Cathedral you see a lot of statues. It’s surprising to see a gothic Cathedral in the middle of all the modern buildings.
New-York is noisy and busy – it’s not exactly restful but if you like big cities and lots of excitement the Big Apple is a great place to visit.

I learn Spanish at school and I would like to visit this country and also discover their culture to improve my vocabulary and my Spanish language. I think that there are lots of beautiful monuments to visit and fabulous places to see.

Here is my text on the places I have never been to and I would like to discover.

First places:

-The United States of America-
-Russia-

Second places:
- I would like to travel all around America to discover other countries like:
Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, Greenland…-

It’s an ambitious project to carry out but it’s one of my dreams.

I have already been to the Balearic Islands and Tunisia but I was very young . I only have a few memories because I was little. Let me say a few words about one of my trip:

It was in Tunisia with my parents and it was my first trip. I was 4 years old, and I was excited because I was leaving France and because it was the holidays. It was on May 1998. it was great because there was a mini-club for the children of my age and then I made a lot of friends. I ate a lot of Tunisian chips !!! But I only kept a few memories and there they are :

mer de tunisie

chameau de tunisieHotel Monastir

- And the most important : MY FRIENDS!! –

–The Olympics Games– by Carolyne

Jeudi 8 mai 2008

I think it’s a good idea to scream for the Humans Rights of the China but the Olympics Games are the only meeting where the champions of all the world are meet together, then is a bad idea to boycott them… It’s only the four years… I want to see them on TV not the series of every days!!! I am for the Human Rights of China, but not for the boycott of them.
