Actualité Comenius – OMCE

La classe de SPVL1 et ses enseignants sont impliqués depuis la rentrée et pour 2 années dans un projet européen en partenariat avec 4 autres pays : la Hongrie, l’Italie, la Lituanie et la Turquie. Le thème de ce projet est culturel : une meilleure connaissance de son patrimoine culturel et la transmission de cette connaissance aux autres partenaires, au travers de la création d’un jeu éducatif.

C’est dans ce cadre que nous recevons du 7 au 12 avril prochain des délégations de ces pays composées de jeunes et de leurs enseignants, 24 élèves et 14 enseignants.  Vous pouvez avoir davantage d’informations sur ce projet en vous rendant sur le site que nous avons créé précisément pour ce projet, qui s’appelle OMCE : “Our Mutual Cultural EUnterprise”, à cette adresse : www.omceu.atw.hu

Un programme a été mis au point en partie par les élèves eux-mêmes.

Nous vous tiendrons au courant de l’avancée de ce projet et nous remercions par avance les élèves pour leur implication dans ce projet ambitieux, au cours duquel la langue anglaise est la langue de communication.

Dans le cadre du programme Leonardo Da Vinci, 18 élèves de Terminale Bac Professionnel Restauration partent pour 5 semaines de stage dans des restaurants gastronomiques et traditionnels en Europe : 5 à Bilbao, 8 à Cracovie et 4 à Anvers, du 15 mars au 16 avril 2010.

Nous leur souhaitons un bon séjour.

H1 : I can read and understand a menu

Dear H1 students,

You are in Miami, in the USA. Right now, you are sitting at the table of a famous restaurant there : the Grand Lux Café and the waiter just brought you a menu.

1°) Read the menu and prepare questions for the waiter as you want more details about “appetitzers”, “pan and grill”, “vegetables” and desserts.

2°) Decide what you are going to eat for your starter, main course and dessert.

In the comments section, write down 3 questions for the waiter and tell us what you are going to eat !
