A fellow teacher has just told me that the English Addicts site is now free for the summer until September 5th.
Just click on “Try now” to practise for free.
It’s up to you to select your level : Easy (B1) – Average(B2-C1) – Difficult (C2).
Then you can choose a lesson : there are activities before listening, while listening and after listening.
Here’s the link to “Interesting things for ESL students” which is a website created by Charles Kelly and Laurence Kelly. Their site is non-commercial and has no advertising.
There are quizzes, word games, word puzzles, proverbs, slang expressions, vocabulary study, pronunciation practice, listening practice and many other things.
There are a lot of websites aimed at ESL students, you might have already bookmarked some of them for your summer practice !
You’ll find interesting activities and links on this website.
Don’t forget to practise your English even if you are on holiday !
I’m going to give you some tips throughout the summer. There’s a summer edition for CNN Student News, just visit their website !
Do you need some practice before the exams ?
Here’s the link to a useful website ! Yvan Baptiste has provided a lot of resources for French students.
Good luck !
It might be useful to take some tests just before the exams ! You will find a selection of free online tests provided on a website I have already recommended :
English Online France – Université de Franche-Comté
Good luck !
Do you know there is an official website for all those who need to practise outside the classroom ?
The lessons have been created by teachers for the CNED (“Centre National d’Enseignement à distance” ) , you can print them and download the recordings for free.
