Lithuania

The capital city of Lithuania is Vilnius.

The spoken language is Lithuanian.

The history of this country is interesting.

As far as gastronomy is concerned the Lithuanians eat a famous black bread, fish, pork, sausages called “skilandis” and many vegetables: cabbages, peas and kugelis ( potatoes, onion, eggs, flour, milk, diced bacon, butter, salt and pepper).

And they drink salty sparkling water, beer, liquor, the most famous one being a liquor of chocolate. Krupnikas is a liquor based on honey and spices; falanga, dainava are liquors based on fruits.

As far as tourism is concerned, you can visit Auksatija, Dzukija, Suvalkija and Zemaitija.

Spain

The capital city of Spain is Madrid.
The spoken language in this country is Spanish.
The king’s name is Juan Carlos 1st
the history of Spain is interesting. The Romans conquered the peninsula in the second century BC. The main language, religion and the laws derived largely from the Roman period.
As far as gastronomy is concerned the Spanish eat paella, tapas …
Their specialities include paella, fish, seafood, tapas…
And they drink Spanish wine (rioja) or beer
As far as tourism is concerned, you can visit Burgos, Salamanque,Madrid, Barcelone, Figueres, Pampelone, Valence, Saragosse, or sunbathe on the mediterranean coast or Baleares islands.

POLAND
Warsaw is the capital city of Poland. Cracow was the capital city of Poland before 1561 and is also the most beautiful city in central and eastern Europe.The spoken language is Polish. The President’s name is Lech Aleksander Kaczynski ( a conservative). The national anthem of Poland is a mazurka : Mazurek Dabrowskiego.
As far as gastronomy is concerned; the Polish eat zurech (a soup), bortsch (a beet soup), bigos (beef, sauerkraut, cabbage, prunes, mushrooms, condiments).
The traditional drink of Poland is Vodka Zubrowka.
The Polish have many celebrations:
On November 11th : Independence day.
At Christmas children look at the sky until they can see the first star before laying the table. In Poland Father Christmas brings presents on 6th of December, and on 24th angels bring presents.
On June 1st, it is children’s day : parents buy presents for their children.
