If you’re happy….

If you’re Happy and you Know it!

  • If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it
  • .If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, shout « Hurray »
  • If you’re happy and you know it, shout « Hurray »
  • If you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, shout « Hurray »
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.
  • Now we are going to sing the last verse again,
  • But this time faster, a lot faster.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.
  • If you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it
  • If you’re happy and you know it, do all three.

Molly Malone

  • The Dubliners are an Irish folk band founded in 1962, making them one of the older bands that are still performing music presently. They made a name for themselves playing regularly in O’Donoghue’s Pub in Dublin « Molly Malone » is a popular song which has acquired the status of an Irish anthem. It has become one of the unofficial anthems of Dublin City. It tells the tale of a beautiful fishmonger who plied her trade on the streets of Dublin, but died young, of a fever.

LYRICS  :

  • In Dublin’s fair city,
  • Where girls are so pretty,
  • I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,
  • As she pushed her wheelbarrow
  • Through streets broad and narrow,Crying, « Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh »!
  • ChorusAlive, alive oh! alive, alive oh!Crying, « Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh »!
  • Now she was a fishmonger,
  • And sure twas no wonder,
  • For so were her mother and father before,
  • And they each wheeled their barrow,
  • Through streets broad and narrow,
  • Crying, « Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh »!
  • Chorus
  • She died of a fever,
  • And no one could save her,
  • And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone.
  • Now her ghost wheels her barrow,
  • Through streets broad and narrow,Crying, « Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh »!
  • Chorus

Rudolph

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer?and Prancer and Vixen,

Comet and Cupid and? Donner and Blitzen,

But do you recall? the most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer? had a very shiny nose.

And if you ever saw it,? you would even say it glows.

All the other reindeers? used to laugh and call him names.

They never let poor Rudolph? join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve? Santa came to say:

« Rudolph with your nose so bright,? won’t you guide my sleigh tonight? »

Then how the reindeers loved him? as they shouted out with glee: «

Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,? you’ll go down in history! »

I WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

« Do They Know It’s Christmas? »

Deco

Band aid

The first line of the recording is sung by Paul Young on the 1984 version, Kylie Minogue on the 1989 version, and Chris Martin on the 2004 version. The line was originally written for David Bowie who finally sang it at the Live Aid concert. Band Aid was a British and Irish charity supergroup, founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in order to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia by releasing the record « Do They Know It’s Christmas? » for the Christmas market. The single surpassed the hopes of the producers to become the Christmas number one on that release. Two subsequent re-recordings of the song to raise further money for charity also topped the charts .

It’s Christmas time

There’s no need to be afraid

At Christmas time

We let in light and we banish shade

And in our world of plentyWe can spread a smile of joy

Throw your arms around the world

At Christmas time

But say a prayer

Pray for the other ones

At Christmas time it’s hard

But when you’re having fun

There’s a world outside your window

And it’s a world of dread and fear

Where the only water flowing

Is the bitter sting of tears

And the Christmas bells that ring

There are the clanging chimes of doom

Well tonight thank God it’s them instead of you

And there won’t be snow in Africa

This Christmas time

The greatest gift they’ll get this year is life

Where nothing ever grows

No rain nor rivers flow

Do they know it’s Christmas time at all?

(Here’s to you) raise a glass for everyone

(Here’s to them) underneath that burning sun

Do they know it’s Christmas time at all?

[END:]Feed the world, Feed the world,Feed the world,Let them know it’s Christmas time

[END:][repeat & fade]Feed the world,Let them know it’s Christmas time

Dothey know

5° Bungalow Bill

Beatles – The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill lyrics

Hey, Bungalow Bill

What did you kill

Bungalow Bill?

He went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun

In case of accidents he always took his mom

He’s the all American bullet-headed saxon mother’s son.

All the children sing

Hey Bungalow Bill

What did you kill

Bungalow Bill?

Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies

Bill and his elephants were taken by surprise

So Captain Marvel zapped in right between the eyes

All the children sing

Hey, Bungalow Bill

What did you kill

Bungalow Bill?

The children asked him if to kill was not a sin

Not when he looked so fierce, his mother butted in

If looks could kill it would have been us instead of him

All the children sing

Hey, Bungalow Bill

What did you kill

Bungalow Bill?

3° How can we  sleep when our beds are burning? –  by Midnight Oil

Lyrics
Out where the river broke
The bloodwood and the desert oak
Holden wrecks and boiling diesels
Steam in forty five degrees

The time has come
To say fair’s fair
To pay the rent
To pay our share
The time has come
A fact’s a fact
It belongs to them
Let’s give it back

How can we dance when our earth is turning
How do we sleep while our beds are burning
How can we dance when our earth is turning
How do we sleep while our beds are burning

The time has come to say fairs fair
To pay the rent, now to pay our share

Four wheels scare the cockatoos
From Kintore East to Yuendemu
The western desert lives and breathes
In forty five degrees

The time has come
To say fair’s fair
To pay the rent
To pay our share
The time has come
A fact’s a fact
It belongs to them
Let’s give it back

How can we dance when our earth is turning
How do we sleep while our beds are burning
How can we dance when our earth is turning
How do we sleep while our beds are burning

The time has come to say fair’s fair
To pay the rent, now to pay our share
The time has come, a fact’s a fact
It belongs to them, let’s give it back

How can we dance when our earth is turning
How do we sleep while our beds are burning
