Awarding Nobel prize laureate Robert Curl

On Monday, January 13, 2014, Aleksandar Protic and Djordje Djurdjevic delivered the Cross-cultural Ambassador certificate to Prof. Robert Curl (Nobel Prize in chemistry), in the historic Smalley-Curl Room at Rice University, USA.

Prof. Curl was also named a UNESCO Club Sorbonne Cross-Cultural Ambassador jointly by the Sorbonne University and MIT UNESCO clubs.

The Cross-cultural Ambassadors are committed and have generously contributed to the understanding and intercultural communication, making important contribution in the following fields: education, culture, science and communication and information. The honorary title of Cross-cultural Ambassadors is reserved for individuals who have distinguished themselves in favor of multiculturalism, but can also reward a great personal commitment to human rights, peace and social justice and to greet an exemplary career.
