One-week lectures in July at the Sorbonne. The Paris-Sorbonne “Estivales” is a series of lectures in English, open to all English listeners. It is available to a wide-ranging public (no academic level required) eager to improve their knowledge of French history and culture and make the most out of their stay in Paris.
Permanent residents, visitors and tourists wishing to know more about France are all welcome to take part in these open and convivial lectures providing lively illustrations of French culture.
One series of three lectures is already scheduled. The first two lectures will deal with the main landmarks of French and Parisian history. The third is an introduction to the history of arts in France, with a particular focus on the most outstanding masterpieces to be found in the museums of Paris.
