The 13th Amendment: the Abolition of Slavery

Abraham Lincoln was the president of the USA who decided to abolish slavery on Febuary the 1st in 1865. The Senate and Abraham Lincoln created the 13th Amendment  and signed it on December the 6th in 1865 at the end of the civil war.

All the americans in the USA were involved. The creation of the 13th Amendment was a great progress for the civil rights of Americans. Today Abraham Lincoln is considered as a hero and slavery is prohibited. Moreover black and white people are now equal.
