The U.S Constitution was signed on September the 17th, 1787 by the Constitutional Convention and Georges Washington in Philadelphia, after the American independence. The Constitution etablished America’s national governement, laws and the rights for the citizens. It created the U.S.A and the twenty seven first states.
Thanks to the Constitution, The U.S.A aren’t dependent on England anymore.
Today the U.S.A are made up of fifty four states and there is a total of 27 amendments in the Constitution.
