ENGLISH IS A STRESSED AND UNSTRESSED LANGUAGE

English is a stressed language. Words are stressed or unstressed to express an idea or a feeling.

Ex : I am very happy to be here today to speak to you

The meaning differs according to the stressed words.

I : me and not somebody else

Happy :my emotion

Here : I appreciate to be in this place

Today : not another day.

Speak : « speak » not « to play » or « to drink »

It is a report about Alicia’s experience at the William Blue college.

Alicia  is probably 19. She looks optimistic about her studies.  She can be described as an active and passionate student. She likes her studies and is ready to make all the efforts to be graduated.

She states that she prefers the practical to the theory.

There are some subjects that she likes less such as budget statistics. She would like to be a hotel manager or work in an airport.

She must be open-minded and ready to meet people of different background.

The tone of the video is serious because the document is promoting William Blue College. The atmosphere is a little tense as Alicia is a bit nervous. But this is quite obvious when you are interviewed.
