A new president has been elected in the US in November 2020: Joe Biden.

The ceremony takes place on Jan, 10th 2021.

It is important because Joe Biden is a Democrat whereas the former President Donald Trump was a Republican. 

What’s more, Kamala Harris is the first woman, and the first woman of colour, to be elected Vice President. It’s a BIG WIN!
