Robinson Crusoe, a lonely figure …

For a month, I read Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. In my opinion Robinson’s character is very fascinating because during 28 years, this man has managed to live alone on a desert island, (he could have become mad) and with « Friday », with the help of nature. Personally I loved this novel because, as Robinson, I would love to live alone on an island, take care of myself and live many adventures. I also think this novel encouraged many people to explore our world as Neil Amstrong or captain Cousteau…

4 réflexions sur « Robinson Crusoe, a lonely figure … »

  1. I red this book five years ago and I didn’t like… I don’t enjoy this kind of novels, I prefer scary or love stories…

  2. Have you ever read « Lord of the Flies »? They are children in the second war who escape by plane but there is a crash and they are alone on an idyllic island which makes them mad.

  3. I never read this book but i seen just cartoons and I think the story could be more interesting if it related with a real story. Why not, one day I would read this book .
