Lewis Caroll : Alice in Wonderland

Lewis Caroll was a brilliant photographer, mathematician and writer of the 19th century. His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dogson, he was born in England in1832 and died in 1898.

He’s mostly famous thanks to his book Alice in Wonderland published in 1865.  He tells a story to a young girl named Alice Liddell who suggest to write this story and published it. This little girl had inspired the name of the main character : Alice, arrived in a world of nonsense.

The huge success of this book had generated his sequel : Threw the looking glass and what Alice found there, published in 1872.

Those books had inspired lot of director : from the first film about Alice in 1903 to the well known Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton.
