In class we watched Frankestein. The representation was very dramatic. We could understand what they said and the story. Helena Bonham Carter playing is very well. I find that she is a good actress. She plays always in films of Tim Burton and she is radiant ! She is also in « Frankestein ». Some scenes are sometimes long but this story is strange and interesting.
We have seen the play of Frankestein with school and the film. I can compare and I prefere the play of Frankestein !
I agree with you Héloise, the play was much better!
I think that we can’t compare the film by Coppola and the play that we see at school because the play is an adaptation with humour and it’s not really the same story like the book of Mary Shelley. I think that he film want to be the more possible similar with the book of Mary Shelley, contrary to the piece of theater that we were able to see. It’s two things very different I think. But the fact that you prefer to see the play, I understand: I prefered too the play.
Apparently the play of Frankenstein was really good. It must be more sensitive than film.
I agree with Jeanne we can’t compare the film by Coppola and the play that we see at school because the interpretations are different but we can even if pass judgment.
