Firmin Viry was born on the 11th March 1935 at the « Ligne Paradis » in the Reunion’s Island , it is considered like  abig champion and  of the Maloya savour. He was the first of the Communist Party  who has made a vinyl of maloya and this one was still forbidden in 1976. Even today , at the age of 82, he continues to defend the culture of  Reunion Island.
