Kéliona

Kélonia is both an aquarium, museum and research center, intervention and care center devoted to marine turtles.

Kéliona, the marine turtles observatory is an environemental awareness center on the subject of marine turtles distributed around 1500 m3 of seawater fed ponds, educational and scientific premises and 1500 m2 of outdoor spaces. Kéliona participates in research programs to protect marine turtles and their habitats in Réunion and in the Indian Ocean.

Operational hours :

-from Monday to Sunday of 9am at 6pm

-closing of the ticket office at 5pm

-guited tours : 10am / 11am30 /2pm /3pm15 /4pm30

-close it : January 1, first of may, November 1 st and 24/31 December
