In 1620, the Pilgrim Fathers travelled on board the Mayflower across the Atlantic. The conditions of life on the ship were very hard. They arrived in the New World during winter where they founded Plymouth.
During the first years, they were helped by the Indians. It is now celebrated with Thanksgiving.
