Hello everyone !
It’s been a few months now that we decided to launch this blog. It’s a real success as, you probably noticed, we have now had more than 10000 visitors. We would like to thank you all, students from Saint Michel and other visitors, for stopping by and looking around.

Please, feel free to drop comments and write your suggestions for next year (topics, documents, countries, or any other interests English teachers can work on).
All the English teachers !

On June 6th, 1944, it was the beginning of the Allied landing in Normandy… It has been celebrated since then and refered to as “D Day“… a massive air and sea operation that changed History. It inspired many movies such as Saving Private Ryan, with Tom Hanks.

Today, President Obama is in France to celebrate that day along with French President and former soldiers who are now heroes.

Dear students…
Maybe you have watched the fabulous movie HOME produced by Yann Arthus Bertrand and broadcasted on an international scale the same day, at the same time. It’s probably the first time in the history of television.

This movie shows beautiful pictures of our planet and deals with environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation… Here’s the trailer of the movie :
