We booked a day trip.We went to the wicklow mountains. To see another side of Dublin.
we woke up very early, and at 9am our trip started.
we were 40 people on the bus, from over 12 countries!
To start with, we explored historic Glencree Cemetery and visited Glencree, the home to the military cemetery which serves as a reminder of World War II. The adjacent Military Barracks is now a centre for peace and reconciliation.
Afterwards we visited P.S. I LOVE YOU BRIDGE. It was so beautiful.
Then, We went to the beautiful Lough Tay, locally known as the Guinness Lake, one of the shooting locations for the TV programme Vikings!
And we visited GLENDALOUGH, it was a huge park with a historic cement factories high tower, and a magnificent lake.
And to end the day, we stopped in a small Irish village, there were not really things to see, just a bridge and a small river. We had a lot of fun, we discovered new places, and we made a new friend, from Brazil, he was very nice. And he will come to see us in France haha 😉
