b. strength or force exerted or capable of being exerted, might (=puissance)

c. a person, group, or nation having great influence or control over others

Here is a list of questions you can ask yourself about the notion:

a.Being in power

Who has power? What are the different forms of power? Over whom?

Period of time?

How is power exerted? Where?

What for?

What are the values of those who have power?

What are the consequences?

 

b. Power struggles

How to get more power?

Who rebels against power? What for? How?

What kind of relationship between the one having power and the one having little or none?

 

c. The limits to power

Is power abused?

Are there counterpowers? Is power limited? Why?
