Some American key figures
Dear Year-9 students,
There are just so many people who influenced and helped define the history and culture of the United States of America that it is impossible to say who was the most significant. We chose a few very different key figures from very different fields for that first week after the holidays and hope you enjoyed discovering them.

Who is your favourite figure by the way? I think mine is probably Billie Holiday because I really like her music and always find her song « Strange Fruit » extremely moving. If you don’t know it, here comes a video.
