| Introduction | L’année 1789 marque en France le début de la Révolution. la monarchie absolue de Louis XVI est incapable de répondre à la crise économique et de résoudre les inégalités sociales. |
| I. Les députés se révoltent | La révolution française débute avec celle des députés. L’échec des Etats Généraux, le 5 mai 1789, pousse les députés du tiers Etat à faire le serment de rédiger une Constitution, le 20 juin 1789 au jeu de Paume. |
| II. le peuple se révolte | La crainte d’une répression (punition) entraine les parisiens sans culotte à se rendre à la Bastille afin de chercher des armes. Durant l’été 1789, c’est toute la France qui s’embrase lors de la Grande Peur ( massacre des nobles et du clergé). |
| Conclusion | Afin d’apaiser les tensions , l’ensemble des députés signent l’abolition des privilèges le 4 août et confirme l’égalité des droits le 26 en rédigeant la Déclaration des Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen. |
