L’Allemagne souffre économiquement des conditions très difficiles du traité de Versailles ( traité de paix de la pgm) et se sent humiliée par les vainqueurs.
Les moyens considérables de la propagande nazie et la puissance des Section d ‘Assaut font apparaître le parti Nazi d’Hitler comme le seul remède, en dépit (malgré) du putsch raté de 1923.
Il obtient le pouvoir de manière démocratique et se fait accorder dès 1933 les pleins pouvoirs.
II/ Quelle est la politique nazie d’Hitler entre 1933 et 1945 ?
Hitler s’inspire du modèle de Benito Mussolini ( Italie fasciste ) et met en place une politique nationaliste, antisémite et totalitaire.
Il confisque tous les pouvoirs et devient le seul chef, entouré des SA.
La population est embrigadée , notamment par les mouvements de jeunesse, et le culte de personnalité omniprésent.
Les opposants sont arrêtés et déportés dans les premiers camps de concentration ( Dachau) .
Les juifs subissent une politique antisémite de plus en plus violente : les lois de Nuremberg ( 1935) les exclus de la société et la “Nuit de cristal” (1938) marque les premières violences de l’Etat.
Nationalisme : exaltation du sentiment nationale, amour passionné pour son pays
Patriotisme : dévouement d’un individu envers le pays qu’il reconnaît comme étant sa patrie.
Déportation : déplacement de force d’un groupe de personnes
