Do you know Salem?

Salem is a big city which is located in Massachusetts,USA . Every year in Salem a lot of people come to visit this place during Halloween. And do you know why ? Because Salem is the city of witches ! In the year 1692, when people of the town lived of fishing, Salem was a little town, almost 300 people were accused of witchcraft. There was even a witch ward court! After this, the city continued to be famous for witches. And, on the 31st of October, the legend says that witches return to haunt Salem !

Today, Salem is a developed city and there are lots of things you can do ! You can visit the Witch museum, take a haunted walking tour in Salem, etc… On the month of October, the city organizes a Festival of the dead ! There are so many things to do !

The earthquake in Morocco

The earthquake in Morroco came out on September 8th, 2023.

More than 2900 people were killed in this big and extremely infrequent earthquake .

The magnitude of this earthquake was of 6.8, that equals to an eathquake that can be

felt more than 10kms around the epicentre and can also cause significant damages.

All important phenomena like this are very dangerous for us and for the planet, and at the moment the big earthquakes are more frequent on Earth than before .

STARBUCKS : how a coffee company revolutionized the coffee culture.

Starbucks is an american company showed with a logo that represents a mermaid with two tails.
This brand is popular and famous all around the world.
It suggests you coffee, tea and many fresh or hot drinks.

It was founded by 3 business partners in 1971, Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker in Seattle.
Actually, this brand was a very little coffee shop and which was in the coffee bean business.
Step by step, this brand grew until becoming a very big and popular label which sells a large variety of coffee all around the world.
That former little coffee shop is  now an enormous and successful company which earns  more than 32.25 billion dollars.

Instagram was created in 2010 by two graduates of Standford.

It was Kevin Sistrom and Mike Krieger.

Kevin has always been interested in photography and in high school, he chaired the photo club.

Instagram is a photo and video sharing application.

Adam Masserie is the CEO ( the boss ) of Instagram.

This application contributes of the rise of influencers and competes with TikTok and

Snapchat. It is before Snapchat but after Youtube and Facebook.

In August 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo was the celebrity to have the highest number of followers on Instagram, with approximatly 270,80 millions of followers !
