STARBUCKS : how a coffee company revolutionized the coffee culture.

Starbucks is an american company showed with a logo that represents a mermaid with two tails.
This brand is popular and famous all around the world.
It suggests you coffee, tea and many fresh or hot drinks.

It was founded by 3 business partners in 1971, Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker in Seattle.
Actually, this brand was a very little coffee shop and which was in the coffee bean business.
Step by step, this brand grew until becoming a very big and popular label which sells a large variety of coffee all around the world.
That former little coffee shop is  now an enormous and successful company which earns  more than 32.25 billion dollars.

KFC was created in 1939 by colonel Harland Sanders Fast food is dedicated to chicken and fries. It is also thanks to its excellent chicken legs that it was known. Elisabeth II was born on april 21st 1926 in London.

When her uncle Edward VII (initially heir to the crown) renounces his rights to marry a divorced woman, it’s her father who becomes king. As the eldest daughter of George VI, she then becomes first in the order of succession.

A Polish brexit ?

Did you hear about a « Polexit » ? A Polish Brexit ? Why do the Poland talk about that ?

– The Poland is part of the European Union since 2004. But, a few weeks ago, Poland spoke about a « Polexit ». It’s like the Brexit (brexit = the leaving of the UK) but for Poland. Recently, the Polish Governement assured they wanted the Poland to stay in the European Union.

A lot of Polish People went to protest in the streets because they want to stay in the European Union.

  • But, how did they get the idea ?

Firstly, the Polish government has declared that the « rules » of the European Union isn’t compatible with the Poland Constitution. (They think the European rules are superior that the Polish rules and they disagree with that.)

Secondly, on the side of the European Union, they don’t agree one thing in Poland : do not let enter LGBTQ+ in a shop is authorized.

To finish, for the moment, Poland will stay in the European Union.
