World Pillow Fight Day

World Pillow Fight Day takes place every year on April 7!
The first World Pillow Fight Day took place on March 22, 2008, at the initiative of the Urban Playground Movement, a group of activists whose aim was to transform the city into a playground. In this way, armed with pillows of all sizes, 35 cities took part, including Paris, Montpellier and Strasbourg in France. It wasn’t until 2010 that World Pillow Fight Day had a dedicated day.
In 2015, the town of Brookings in the southern United States achieved the feat of gathering more than 4,200 people, pillows and bolsters in hand.
World Pillow Fight Day is essentially about having fun, recapturing your childlike spirit, letting off steam, just with pillows.
