Timothy Walter Burton is know under the name of Tim Burton, the famous director. He was born the 25 August, in 1958. He is know for his dark, gothic, macabre, and eccentric horror and fantasy films such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, etc …
These favorite actors are Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter of course, they have play together many times, in Dark Shadow, for exemple. He is really a film artist, thanks to his imagination, or his decadence and his way of getting to sordid to be something beautiful. Moreover he isn’t just a director, he is also a writer and animator. He had make many animated feature like Corpse Bride ( in 2005) it was the first full-length stop motion film for him as a director. Thanks to these drawings, he transports us to another world. Burton is one of my favorite director, he’s really talented ! I understand when people say they don’t really like his universe, because it is really dark, and a little bit weird. Not everybody can like that kind of atmosphere. But personnaly, I think he directs a lot of beautiful movies, like Edward Scissorhands, or Alice in Wonderland !
