Farewell BBQ Dinner
Before going to France, every family was invited to a BBQ Dinner in the Franklin School of Innovation. The goal was to share a last meal and especially a great moment together.
Some organizers from the UNCA were present, to thank everybody for our exchange which had been a success. Besides, some of us could talk in front of all the parents and 2 or 3 students were interviewed, and they finally wrote an article.
This article was published and emphasizes the link between Saumur and Asheville. It underlines the will of theses cities to repeat this cultural exchange for the next years.
Concerning the food, we had the opportunity to taste lots of meals with meats. We also tasted a huge variety of desserts.
There was a great mood because all the different meals were brought by the guests, so everything was homemade cooked.
Following this friendly moment, we got some gifts like T-shirts , caps, scarfs and other clothes from Asheville or the UNCA.
Thus, we made the most of this time to take pictures and thank everybody with the promise that Saumur and Asheville will keep this mentality of sharing experiences and continue to develop international bonds.
