It’s a woman, her name is J.K Rowling (Joanne Kathleen Rowling),  she’s British and she was born on 31 July 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire in England near Bristol. She’s a writer, author of  the Harry Potter series. She studied at the university of Exeter, and after that, she studied for one year in Paris.

The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, sold more than 4oo million copies to become the « Best-selling book series in history ».
