Simple past : pour une action passée. Concerne l’enchaïnement des actions dans l’histoire. Verbe régulier + ed. ex : play-ed/want-ed…
Verbe irrégulier (à connaître ou voir liste )
Forme négative : S+didn’t+Base verbale. Ex : I didn’t play/I didn’t see/ I didn’t do…
Past continuous : pour les circonstances du l’action. Auxiliare be au simple past + Verb-ing
I was/You were/He, she,it was/e were/You were/They were
Ex : I was walking/ The sun was shining/ We were waiting….
