The first non-virtual mobility in on project took place to Finland, in April, 2022. The goal for the 17 students from abroad and their Finnish hosts was to film a short documentary on their week in Espoo, from the perspective of water, sustainable growth, and recycled materials. Our activities included a beekeeper lesson, a video production tutorial, creating bioplastic from milk and vinegar, a swim in the frozen sea, and trips to location related to our project themes: Aalto University Design Factory, central Helsinki, Suomenlinna island off the coast of Helsinki, and the Fazer factory.
