Water consumption in France vs in Italy

Our 8th graders made some researches on the water consumption in France and Italy and more specifically how it is split between crops, industry and home consumptions.

It appears that in France  most of the water consumption is being used for crops  with 88 percents and 8 percents by the industry, as opposed to Italy where Industry uses 59 percents and only 30 percents is being used by agriculture.
