Dada

An art movement that was born in the early twentieth century, which debunked* tradition. The movement was created to ridicule the existing art forms, and it was not a style in itself.

It was  a consequence of  World War I and the chaos in which social and moral values were left in.

Dada artists produced works which were  often both absurd and playful, and often difficult to understand.

Dadaists typically produced unconventional art works. Some used accidents to produce their works of art. The word Dada itself does not mean much. The story goes it was chosen by accident in a dictionary.
