What is an acrostic poem?

An acrostic poem is a poem where the first letter of each line spells out a word or phrase, which is typically the subject of the poem.

Usually those letters would be bigger or bolder or coloured in some way so you can easily see the word and spot that it is an acrostic poem.

• We are now going to work on a new subject « Elementary, my dear Watson!  » page 138 and 139 in your workbook and  in the interactive book ;)
• Watch the video ;) and do the activities Task 1, Task 2 and Task 3 below the video.
• Do the activity 1 (with the vocabulary of the video ;) ) ,  then activities 2 and 3 page 138 in your workbook using the interactive book ;)
• This must be done by Friday May 29th.

• Now read the poem aloud and record yourself (you can use your phone or Audacity or another device on your computer) and put your audio recording of the poem here ;) This is going to be evaluated, so do it seriously, please !
• Now for all of you : do the activities on this interactive book ;)
