She wrote the article to tell about her experience as a teenage traveller. The article is quite long but it is time for you to start reading longer texts.
Read the beginning. The introduction is always the most important part.
Read the headtitles and the first and last paragraphs in each parts.
Read the conclusion. This way, you will understand better the meaning of the article.
Who is she? What is so special about her life experience? Send me a short summary in French of what you have understood (no Deepl translations of course!).

Go to chapter 1 page 13 to read the title of the chapter and get where the female characters are. Next go to page 17 and read from ‘The next day…’ to ‘far apart’. FINAL TASK
You’ve travelled some place abroad, or maybe in your mother country, France. Write about a special day, a trek you’ve experienced, people you’ve met or anything about this adventure.

- give your first impressions
- tell an anecdote
- explain what you learnt from this trip
STEP TWO: WRITE YOUR TRAVEL DIARY ENTRIES
Use your notes to write your diary entries:
- organise you ideas and use connecters
- add drawing, emoticons and photos
