Now meet Réka Kaponay, a teenage traveller, in this article from The Guardian HERE and on her blog THERE.
She wrote the article to tell about her experience as a teenage traveller. The article is quite long but it is time for you to start reading longer texts.
Read the beginning. The introduction is always the most important part.
Read the headtitles and the first and last paragraphs in each parts.
Read the conclusion. This way, you will understand better the meaning of the article.
Who is she? What is so special about her life experience? Send me a short summary in French of what you have understood (no Deepl translations of course!).
HERE, discover part of the novel, ‘It’s Only the Himalayas, and Other Tales of Miscalculation from an Overconfident Backpacker’ written by Sue Bedford in 2016. Go to chapter 1 page 13 to read the title of the chapter and get where the female characters are. Next go to page 17 and read from ‘The next day…’ to ‘far apart’. Do you understand this extreme adventure they experienced? Send me a short summary still in French of course!
